Introducing the World's Tallest Tower
At a height of more than 2,700 feet, the Burj Khalifa is the world's tallest man-made structure, housing ultra-luxury residences and office suites, the world's first Armani Hotel and the world's highest public observation deck. In preparation for the tower's grand opening, the developers, Emaar Properties, a Dubai-based conglomerate, contracted SiteLab to create a new web site (www.BurjKhalifa.ae) that would properly showcase and promote this major architectural event.
Project goals included:
- Position Burj Khalifa as an iconic, one-of-a-kind structure offering an unparalleled lifestyle experience
- Build brand equity for Emaar and Burj Khalifa
- Generate visits to Burj Khalifa and related destinations in surrounding Downtown Dubai

- Working in conjunction with Emaar, SiteLab's development team selected a content management platform appropriate for the project that allows us to continually update the site with new content and imagery
- Our design team translated the unique Burj Khalifa brand into a captivating user experience by creating a clean, sophisticated design to showcase the tower with dynamic, larger-than-life imagery
- We developed intuitive navigation to guide users through the multi-faceted Burj Khalifa experience

Results
- The site was launched one month in advance of the tower's grand opening celebration
- Within the first week, the site was featured on Yahoo!'s home page and visits exceeded 100,000 per day
