Interactive Creative/Art Director
SiteLab Interactive is looking for a full time Interactive Creative Director /Art Director. The Interactive Creative/Art Director serves as the principle creative lead and manages creative teams on accounts and is responsible for directing or participating in all phases of creative work from concept development through production, for inspiring and motivating creative teams, and is accountable for developing and directing creative work of the highest caliber. The CD assists in the management of the creative department through project planning and staffing estimation, Creative staff evaluations and coaching and is assist with the development of creative design comps.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating on-brand, on-strategy compelling advertising and or websites for assigned clients with hands on interactive design skills
- Responsible for mentoring and leading assigned creative staff and being available to critique their work to maintain consistent creative quality and award winning work.
- Provides career path direction and development guidance for creative staff on an on-going basis.
- Coaches and oversees Art Directors, providing mentoring and feedback, regularly reviews the work of senior design staff.
- Actively participates in assigned new business development efforts, leading creative teams and developing client response materials.
- Works directly with Account managers, production managers, user experience leads, and technical directors on assigned projects.
- Helps maintain active list of creative contractor resources, i.e.: art directors, copywriters, visual designers, photographers, Flash designers/developers, 3D artists, musicians, etc.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 yrs digital design work experience in an interactive advertising agency (at least 4 yrs of interactive design experience).
- Recognized expertise developing strategic branding creative solutions for the web
- Strong people management and coaching skills to provide clear creative direction and to motivate and inspire creative teams.
- Significant interactive brand-building experience including: concept development, website design, identity design, and online marketing campaign development.
- Understand user-centered design and development processes, with an emphasis on extending brands across a broad range of customer segments.
- Expert knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process, including providing clear creative direction, giving timely and helpful coaching to improve creative and producing work cost effectively and on schedule.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Digital Media Design
Proven Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interactive design skills and intuitive understanding of what makes a truly great interactive experience
- Strong conceptual skills; seasoned in directing the conceptual, technical and creative performance of staff on client work

Online Marketing Manager/Strategist
SiteLab.com, award winning interactive ad agency located at La Jolla Shores, is looking for a top notch online marketing professional to join our team, The Online Marketing Manager/Strategist is responsible for managing a team of online professionals and strategize to implement, launch and manage online campaigns for multiple clients. Daily hands-on interaction, and monthly planning and in-depth analysis of the campaign tracking is the primary requirement for media, PPC and SEO projects.
Other secondary functions include overseeing the creation and implementation of e-mail campaigns, doing general media research and planning for clients, negotiating media rates aggressively, participating in creative brainstorm and marketing consulting services for clients. Big-picture "business vision" is desired as well, to help chart the growth of this business unit, and improve bottom line profitability.
Routine functions include:
- Daily management of the online marketing team. - Develop marketing strategy and creative platform for multiple clients - Write creative briefs and concepts for online marketing campaigns. - Experience with set up and modifications to creative placements on the DART ad delivery system, and monitor the system for ad performance optimization
- Experience managing online media, PPC and SEO (organic) search marketing campaigns. - Oversee the monthly in-depth analysis of current campaigns in report format, with ROI analysis to show clients a positive return on ad spend
- Utilize advanced Excel spreadsheets to calculate campaign performance
- Check channel and creative performance regularly
- Monitor venue invoices for discrepancies
- Help manage the creative process for development of winning ad creative's and email campaigns, working with graphics and programming teams to follow through from inception to delivery
- Assist Account Executives in preparing custom proposals for marketing services
- Interact with clients to answer questions and plan campaigns
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in online marketing
- 4 year degree in Marketing, business or other related field
- Strong leadership skills to improve departmental best practices, improving existing processes and introducing new services
- Core understanding of online media planning, search engine marketing and search engine optimization (experience in these is preferred, as we are known for our search engine marketing services)
- Experience with planning media, plus negotiating and placing banners, email campaigns, PPC campaigns, and rich media campaigns
- Experience in setting up and managing campaign on DART and similar systems, or willingness to learn
- Basic familiarity with HTML programming, JavaScript, and Flash (coding experience is not required, but you should be able to speak comfortably about their usage and be able to comprehend the HTML tags that DART generates)
- Analytical skills for spotting trends within campaign data, as well as for accounting verification of venue billing. Must have strong Excel skills.
- Creativity - you will add your insights to the creative process, and you should be able to solve a client marketing problem with creative, viable solutions
- Team player, able to manage marketing/creative processes and teams under tight deadlines with a smile
- Creative concepting, copywriting or editing experience (and great spelling/grammar)

Interactive Account Executive
SiteLab International is seeking an experienced Interactive Account Executive to contribute to and share in our company's rapid growth. An Account Executive is responsible for achieving annual sales quotas focused on new business targets through excellent sales development skills and superior communication skills with experience selling online media and Wed site development.
Position will require a combination of several skill sets including consultative solution selling, presentation experience, customer interaction and relationship building.
Job Detail:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for prospecting, proposal development and writing, closing sales, and billing and collections.
- Generate leads into prospects by cold calling/networking and referrals from outside sources and inbound leads
- Client presentation and proposal writing essential element of the sales process
- Penetrate "targeted" accounts within a vertical market structure ( where possible)
- Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin sales cycle
- Work closely with Sales Management and Production/Marketing Team to determine a strategic approach
- Produce and deliver quality client sales solution through a client proposal
- Ensure strong communication and follow-up by passing lead or prospect through salesforce.com with all designated calls-to-action, follow-up dates, complete profile information, lead source, etc.

- Responsible for new business sales quota ( quarterly and annually) to achieve sales bonus and increase in commission percentage payout

Required Skills, Education and Experience
- 1-2 years successful experience in sales development, preferably in Web site development and management, SEO, SEM and site search technologies; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

Duties & responsibilities:
- Retention of existing accounts by providing superior customer service
- Primary client contact for needs, questions, research/analysis, and all associated customer communications in fulfillment of daily client requests
- Pro-active assessment and monitoring of client activities
- Plan, coordinate, monitor, and proactively assess client satisfaction
- Act as an advocate for assigned client(s), responding to client inquiries, providing pro-active client support and resolving cross-functional issues
- Work with internal departments to escalate client or technical problems and enhance customer satisfaction
- Write and prepare client reports and account management plans
- Facilitate new client project launch including kick off meetings, brainstorming sessions and weekly client calls

Job Requirements:
